SAMS

Dick and Eva Breadner are currently working in the Deanery of Danli, Honduras. Eva is teaching English as a Second Language while Dick, as always, helps with various prjects. This winter, Eva will also be leading several Canadians in SAMS’ first “Pilgrimage” visit. The Breadner’s first assignment with SAMS was in 1997, and since then, they have undertaken over twelve mission assignments in Honduras, Chile and Peru. The Food bank is in constant need of plastic grocery bags; their supply is always running low. Please save your plastic grocery bags for them and leave them outside the Food Bank door.

THE LIVING WORD

We are starting what I am calling ‘The Living Word’. Each week one person from each service will share a verse of scripture that has impacted their life and explain how it has impacted them. There is a sign up sheet at the back of the church with dates, so that you can share on that date. Please no more than two minutes and it will come during the regular readings.
