Baptism
Here at St. Ninian's, we take seriously the role of baptism and its purpose in the life of the believer. In the case of infant baptism, it is vitally important that the faith of the parent(s) be operative in their lives. This is one of the most important decisions one can make in their lives; it is more than just an initiation into the family of God. It is a decision to be a follower of Jesus Christ. The service takes place at the main celebration(s) (8:45 and 10:45 a.m.), in which the candidates are welcomed and received into the community of faith. There is nothing magical about baptism itself; it is the first step in our life with Christ. Like any another sacrament, it has to be walked out into our daily lives. We have to decide, with God's grace to choose his way over against the world, the "flesh" (our carnal nature) and the devil. Here at St. Ninian's, we make this a great celebration.

Marriage
Marriage is a very special celebration whereby a man and woman are joined in the presence of friends and family and God himself. If any couple ask for marriage, they will have to go through a course designed to prepare them for their wedding and married life. We here at St. Ninian's are fairly flexible to the liturgy; the couple can make up their own vows, hymns and or choruses or they can use the services in the Book of Common Prayer or the Book of Alternative Services. The object of course, is to personalize the service as much as possible. I, as the priest, take a personal interest in each couple he marries. If the couple is from outside the parish and wants to be married at St. Ninian's, the costs are as follows:
- $200 for the Priest
- $250 for the Organist
- $200 for the Church
- $75 for the Altar Guild (if candles are requested)
In the case of a couple that are members of St. Ninian's, the only cost would be the organist and the Altar Guild. The Marriage Certificate is to be given to the priest no later than three days prior to the wedding. In order to adequately prepare the couple, a minimum of four months is required before the date of the wedding.

Confirmation
But definition, Confirmation is the person's personal decision to be a follower of Christ. He or she is confirming their faith in Christ Jesus. Two, it is the act of being in power by the laying on of hands by the bishop for the empowering of the Spirit. Prior to the service of Confirmation is a course of seven weeks to prepare the Iniate. This is prepared by the priest in an atmosphere of informality.
