| Purpose: | To facilitate the various ways spiritual gifts can be identified and developed |
| Population(s) served: | The Congregation |
Skills / Qualifications:
- the Chairperson must have leadership and organizational skills
- public speaking ability is an asset
- good listening skills
- visionary skills
Spiritual Gifts Recommended:
- leadership
- organization
- creativity
- teaching
Training Provided:
- on-the-job training
- Diocesan Sexual Misconduct Training every 3 years
Meeting Date & Time:
- every 4 – 6 weeks for 1 – 2 hours
Time Commitment Involved:
- can be up to 4 – 6 hours per month
Duties & Responsibilities:
- to encourage others to identify their spiritual gifts
- to meet with members with common gifts and discuss ways in which the gifts can be developed
Limits of the Position:
- must not meet with others one-on-one, as this is a medium risk ministry
- comply with all policies governing confidentiality
